Shoot Report Information Sheet
- Name of the event, date, and location. What classification is the event? For example-world class, zone/state level, fun shoot, beginner.
- Attendance. How many shooters? Is the number up or down from past events?
- Course conditions. General physical condition, such as dry, muddy, manicured,dusty, slippery, groomed, clean, well maintained, etc. Who set the target?
- Weather conditions such as cold, hot, windy, rainy, overcast, humid, dry, damp, sunny, breezy, gusty, snow, fog. How did it affect the event?
- How did the event work out? Was it as expected, better than expected, surprise turn-out, good tie, without a problem, safely, smoothly, well staffed? If there was a problem, like you ran out of something, it's best to mention it.
- Give a business report. Tell what happened at the event...always name the winners and their scores, try and get pictures of them. If it's a charity event, report the dollar figure raised by the event and where the money goes. If it's a multi day event, report the day by day conditions and any close competitions between shooters. Get pictures with names showing shooters in action and around the course.
- Scores. Send us a link to a website where the scores are and we'll post the link.
- When sending pictures please format them so that they are sized to 640x480 pixels.
If you follow this format it's very easy to write an article.

“Good Luck Gun Club - The 1st day of Spring, Paradise, Fl. It was a perfect day with sunny skies and temperatures in the 70's as 114 shooters got together for the 2nd annual 1ST Day of Spring annual shoot out. Attendance doubled from last year as the word has gotten out as to the great facilities that Good Luck has to offer shooters and spectators alike. "People are coming from all over", said shot organizer and club manager Joe Niceguy. As is always the course was in perfect condition and the targets were challenging.
T.P.Gunn won HOA by beating I.M.Goode II in the 4th round of a hotly contested shoot off. High lady shooter was Ima Deadon with 85. The Cumming kids U.P. & Soon, won Jr. and Sub-Jr. class with 86 and 77 respectively…….Congratulation shooters and thanks for the great event."
