188 shooters ranging in age from 7-18 years old representing 12 clubs assembled into 37 teams to compete for top honors this year at the Ohio State 3SF Championship which was held at the Cardinal Center in Marengo, Ohio. Each team consists of 5 shooters and competes in one of three competitive groupings or divisions. These groupings are designed to allow participants to compete with one another on a level playing field. Grade Level in school- Not Age- is the criteria used to populate the Divisions.

The three divisions are: Rookie, open to kids in the 5th grade or below, Junior, open to kids in 6th through 8th grades, & Senior, for young shooter in grades 9-12. Within each division there is a further separation for 1st time or new shooters and shooters that have more experience as a result of prior involvement in the program

Shooters and spectators alike assembled from all over Ohio and enjoyed the days the competition which consisted of each team member shooting a 200 target event. The individual scores are then combined and are used to determine the team score. The Teams with the highest scores are awarded prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishes. This years Winners, by division, are Rookie; Chippewa (333), Entry Level Intermediate; Sportsman Claycrushers (882), Intermediate Advanced; Williams County (899), Jr. Varsity; Sportsman Haven Gun Club (918), and Varsity Greene County (954).
